I recently purchased Lingua Latina per se Illustrata, Pars I: Familia Romana and thought I'd mention it here. Have you ever used Lone Pine Classical Latine? How did it work for your family? Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata. There is a teacher's I found that Amazon, for the most part, has better prices than the publisher (Pullins). I think I really like learning Latin using this book called Lingua Latina: Familia Romana. This book emphasises on the natural language acquisition technique, as everything in there is written in Latin. Recommend a book and approach by Danish scholar Hans Oerberg called Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata. I used this text for I also highly recommend the CD-ROM version ( Familia Romana CD-ROM) of the book - which includes the entire text , audio of the book read by the author, and interactive versions of all the exercises in the book. Students need to purchase the Orberg textbook – Lingua Latina Pars I: Familia Romana for Latin 100 and 200.
